Lions International District 418-Ghana, in collaboration with the United Nations Office in Ghana, has marked this year’s Lions Day with the United Nations with a special ceremony in Accra, celebrating young artists and showcasing creative strategies for advancing peacebuilding.
District 418-Ghana of Lions International has taken a step toward youth and literacy development by donating reading books to ten underprivileged schools across four regions.
This impactful initiative, held on Monday, December 16, 2024, in Accra, brought together staff and students from the beneficiary schools to celebrate the power of education.
In celebration of World Sight Day on October 10, 2024, Lions International District 418, under the leadership of Lion Dr. Helena Asamoah-Hassan, organized a free cataract surgery session for 100 underprivileged patients.
